This project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. We started it back in 2015 – and with some interruptions we continue to this day. The main goal is to support children who have suffered as a result of the war.
The project is aimed at:
In June 2025, we conducted two camp shifts in the Carpathians. The first participants were 90 children from Sumy region – in particular, from the territories near the Russian border. Currently, these children and their families have been forcibly relocated to safer cities and towns in the region.
The second shift of 95 children was one of the most difficult — it included children of the dead, seriously injured, missing, as well as those who lost their homes and whose parents are serving. The work of psychologists who accompanied the children throughout the entire period of their stay in the camp was especially important.
In October, another — additional — shift took place. It was joined by 25 children from border villages in Chernihiv region, who were able to rest and undergo rehabilitation in Verkhovyna.
The camp program included:
In total, this project made it possible to rehabilitate 211 children – instead of the initially planned 140. We thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Czech people for their constant support and assistance!
