This project became the largest one-time transfer of humanitarian aid in the history of the "Initiative E+" - its cost was UAH 1.5 million, which went to the manufacture and delivery of 1,600 bed sets for displaced persons. The sets consisted of a set of linen, a blanket and a pillow.
The beneficiaries of the aid are the "Podilska Perlyna" charity fund in Khmilnytskyi, where there are a lot of displaced persons. This foundation makes beds for people who lost their homes and were forced to flee the war. We helped furnish these beds with linen.
Funds for the project were provided by our old friends Canada Ukraine Foundation. The sets were produced by the enterprise "K.TEX" from Irpin, where people who survived the occupation are involved. Thus, the project turned out to be social in every sense.
Sewing lasted 2.5 months, after which logistics were difficult: it was not possible to fit all the products into a huge truck, so we had to send another 7 pallets by "Nova Poshta", for which special thanks go to their "Humanitarian Post of Ukraine" initiative.
We are proud of this great project and grateful to everyone who was involved in it!
