The Initiative E+ team received a medal from the Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the “Rose of Gratitude”. The award was a recognition of the systematic assistance that the organization has provided to the Ukrainian military since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
During this time, the Initiative E+, together with partners and donors, has been providing the units with the necessary resources. This includes the transfer of vehicles, generators and other equipment that is used directly in the combat zone and helps to perform tasks and save lives every day.
The award received is not only a symbol of gratitude, but also a testament to trust in the organisation and its activities. It emphasises the importance of constant and coordinated support for the military, which is carried out in close cooperation with partners both in Ukraine and abroad.
Although the award is named after the head of the NGO, Valentyna Varava, we emphasise that this distinction is the joint result of the work of the entire team, as well as friends, partners and donors who are involved in the implementation of humanitarian projects.
The organisation continues to work to provide the Defence Forces units with the necessary assistance and support, focusing its efforts on those areas where it is most needed.
