The French association Ukraine-Grenoble-Isère (UGI) has officially closed its fundraiser to purchase vehicles for Ukraine. Two cars, bought with the donations collected, have now arrived from Grenoble to Ukraine — and have been received in Poland by the women drivers of the Initiative E+ team. From there, they headed on to where they're needed every day.
This story is the continuation of an ongoing partnership. UGI has previously delivered portable power stations — equipment that's become essential to the work of front-line hospitals and "Points of Resilience" amid Russia's continued strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Both vehicles left Grenoble fully loaded:
This isn't just transport. It's equipment that will immediately go into service, and cargo that's needed every day on the ground.

As UGI itself underlines in its message to supporters, this result wouldn't have been possible without an extraordinary wave of solidarity. Dozens of donors who contributed. Volunteers who gave their time, energy and ideas — and, as the organisers admit, more than a few "logistical cold sweats" along the way. People who helped spread the word, transport items, prepare the load, support the campaign.
Every donation, every gesture, every share made a difference. Together, they turned solidarity into concrete, visible, immediate action — which is why, today, two vehicles are already at work on Ukrainian soil.
Given the success of the fundraiser and the needs that remain immense on the ground, UGI has already announced its next campaign — to continue its concrete help to Ukraine. The Initiative E+ team is grateful to our French friends for their sustained trust, their consistency, and their ability to do the demanding logistical work where it's needed most.
Thank you, UGI. Thank you to everyone who got involved. Slava Ukraini!
