The E+ Initiative has once again entered the TOP-100 of the National Rating of the Largest Charitable Foundations of Ukraine, which is compiled annually by the Association of Charities of Ukraine. For us, this is confirmation that the work we do every day has a real scale and a transparent basis.
The rating is formed based on the analysis of open financial data and official reporting of organizations and is published for the fourth time — in collaboration with the analytical center "NOVI". Participation in the rating is free, and inclusion in it is carried out exclusively on the basis of objective indicators.
The purpose of the study is to show the real scale of the charity sector, the transparency of organizations and their ability to attract resources.
We did not create the E+ Initiative for the sake of ratings. But getting on this list is a signal for those who want to support our work or join it: the organization works transparently, reports publicly and really does what it says.
The E+ initiative was born during the Revolution of Dignity as an association of Maidan doctors, and from 2014 — from the first day of the war — it joined in providing assistance on all fronts. Over the years, we have donated over 1,200 vehicles to the army and hospitals, including ambulances and large buses converted into mobile hospitals. We have purchased and donated medical equipment worth tens of millions of hryvnias, provided thousands of individual medical first-aid kits, and hundreds of generators for medical and children's institutions during the years of mass power outages.
In parallel — and this is no less important for us — we take care of families and children. Since 2015, every summer we have been organizing rehabilitation camps in the Carpathians for children from frontline cities and children of deceased and seriously injured defenders: in total, over 1,400 children have passed through these camps. We have purchased two apartments for family-type houses in eastern Ukraine, are implementing the "Laptops for Children" program, and are constantly providing material assistance and social support to families who lost loved ones in the war.
