A new humanitarian convoy from our Finnish friends at Karavanen till Ukraina has arrived in Ukraine — and this time it felt as if the column was led by Joulupukki himself. Beyond the festive mood, the convoy brought critically important equipment for medics and frontline units.
This time, Karavanen till Ukraina delivered:
Requests for such transport solutions come often, yet they are challenging to fulfil due to their cost and logistics. This makes the Finnish contribution especially meaningful for those who save lives every day under fire.
An essential part of the convoy was a large batch of 98 EcoFlow portable power stations.
In frontline conditions — where electricity is unstable or completely absent — these devices become lifelines. They provide power for communication tools, medical equipment, drones, thermal imaging devices, lighting, and everything else critical for the safety and effectiveness of Ukrainian defenders.
This convoy was not only about equipment — it was also about people. The most active members of both teams, Initiative E+ and Karavanen till Ukraina, gathered to meet, talk, and plan further cooperation.
With every visit, we feel more deeply that our relationship has grown far beyond formal partnership. It has become a true friendship, built on trust, shared values, and the desire to support Ukraine in its most difficult moments.
These are the words we hear from our Finnish partners every time we meet. And they mean them.
As long as Ukraine must defend itself, they will stand with us.
As long as medics need equipment, they will help deliver it.
As long as the frontline needs energy solutions, they will continue to support Ukrainian soldiers.
Karavanen till Ukraina once again demonstrates that real solidarity is not about formality, but about humanity.
